ARTICLE 1NameSection 1. The name of this Association shall be the Poultry Science Association, Inc.ARTICLE 2ObjectSection 1. The object of this Association shall be the advancement of knowledge and technology in Poultry Science, especially as it relates to resident and extension teaching, research and technical service.ARTICLE 3MembershipSection 1. Membership in the Association shall consist of five classes: Active, Student, Emeritus, Honorary and Provisional.Section 2. An Active member shall be defined as follows: Any person with a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized college or university who has a professional interest in poultry science or a person who through formal training and/or self development has attained a responsible position in poultry science without obtaining a baccalaureate degree.
