Abstract
An analytical procedure is described which uses a rapid partition chromatographic separation of intact allantoin from cream formulations. The allantoin content is measured by potentiometric titration in a mixed solvent system. Accuracy and precision data are presented, and good results are obtained with commercial preparations.
