Abstract

The authors discuss the application of potentiometry to the analysis and monitoring of the electric conductivity, electromotive force, and thermodynamic properties of various silicates during their crystallization from the molten phase. They construct a mathematical representation of the measurement parameters which occur in potentiometric cells and which can be used in the analysis of the measurement data in an on-line production system.
