Abstract

Increasing studies have shown that endothelial progenitor cells can not only promote the damaged endothelial cells and vascular repair in ischemic brain tissue, but also promote neurogenesis, and thus promote neurological function recovery. Endothelial progenitor cells transplantation may become an effective approach for the treatment of ischemic stroke.
