Abstract

ABSTRACT Risk taking has been reported consistently throughout entrepreneurial literature as an essential characteristic of entrepreneurs. This fact is also well documented; however there are various styles of risk taking as well as various measures of risk taking styles. Of particular interest and perhaps the most employed measure is ring toss, with the objective of measuring the risk taking styles among entrepreneurs, the present research has explored the potential of techoprenurs’ risking style in a sample of 156 out of which 90 male and 66 females B.Tech/ M.Tech at the time of training who were undergoing entrepreneurial development training for two weeks in Osmania University entrepreneurship development cell. The data is collected from the same center and on a homogeneous sample but undergoing the entrepreneurship development training programs in different times and in different batches. All of them were well versed with English and had more or less same level of comprehension for English language. The results are reported after applying the appropriate statistics.
