Abstract
We introduce a practical, iterative, perturbative phase-shift-to-potential inversion procedure and give a specific example of how it can be used to relate breakup effects to a potential model of 6Li scattering. We do this by exhibiting a local potential equivalent to the adiabatic breakup calculation of Thompson and Nagarajan.
