Abstract
The effects of variations in anisotropy parameters on inelastic differential, total differential, and integral cross sections for an Ar-CH 4 scattering system are evaluated using the coupled states method. Dramatic sensitivity of the inelastic differential and integral cross sections is noted. Rainbow maxima position and intensity are quite insensitive to anisotropy variations.
