Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a fundamental tool for many sectors of society, and the transport and logistics sector is no exception. This study aims to review the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the transport and logistics sector, focusing on logistics control towers, routing and telemetry. This is a literature review of articles taken from databases such as Scielo and Google Scholar, published in the last 5 years (2018-2023) that were in the public domain and could be read in full. The results showed that AI has the potential to revolutionize industrial sectors, with applications ranging from route optimization to demand forecasting and efficient warehouse management. However, implementing AI also presents challenges, including the need for large volumes of high-quality data, investment in infrastructure and training.
