Abstract
Potassium tantalate niobate (KTaxNbi1−xO3) or KTN has been actively explored in the past few years for its very useful electrooptic properties just above the Curie temperature. It also has excellent acoustical parametric amplification characteristics and great promise for modulation, switching, and deflection of laser beams [Chen et al.].
