Abstract
ABSTRACT Potassium-argon dating of the Dunvegan Sandstone feldspars indicates that the sediment was contributed by continuous erosion of progressively older portions of rocks overlying ancestral Cordilleran batholiths. The actual batholiths did not supply any significant amount of detritus to the formation.
