Abstract
Objective To investigate the post-traumatic growth characteristics of patients with coronary artery disease under going interventional therapy and the effect of self-efficacy intervention. Methods Eighty patients with coronary artery disease who underwent interventional therapy in our hospital from January, 2018 to January, 2019 were selected as the research objects. First, the 80 patients were investigated by post-traumatic growth scale. Then they were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The observation group were given with self-efficacy intervention. The control group were given routine intervention. The post-traumatic growth characteristics, self-efficacy, and quality of life scores before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups. Results The average score of post-traumatic growth of the 80 patients was (59.22±10.61); of which, 36 scored < 57, and 44≥ 57; and the positive detection rate was 55.00%. After the intervention, the scores of post-traumatic growth characteristics, such as appreciation of life, personal strength, relationship with others, new possibilities, and mental changes were significantly increased in both groups (all P<0.05); and the scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (all P<0.05). After the intervention, the self-efficacy scores of the two groups were significantly increased, and that in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (all P<0.05). After the intervention, the quality of life scores of physical function, life status, social function, and psychological function of the two groups were significantly increased, and those in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion Post-traumatic growth of patients with coronary artery disease treated by interventional therapy is at a moderate level. Self-efficacy intervention for patients with coronary artery disease treated by interventional therapy can significantly improve their post-traumatic growth, self-efficacy level, quality of life, and rehabilitation, so it is worthy of clinical promotion.
