Abstract
Poststroke cognitive impairment includes poststroke non-dementia cognitive impairment and poststroke dementia, which is a cognitive dysfunction caused by the vascular factors, neural degeneration or mixed factors. Although the concept of poststroke cognitive impairment has not been generally accepted, it is worth further investigation. This article introduces the epidemiology, risk factors, pathogenesis, elinical manifestation, and prevention and treatment measures of poststroke cognitive impairment .
