Abstract
It is my great pleasure to present to you this second volume of SAA with 40 papers on the biochemistry, physiology, molecular biology, ecology, behaviour, biological control, systematics and evolution of a variety of acarine taxa. As the Editor-in-Chief, I have tried my best to maintain a high standard for this new journal. I apologize for any inadvertent errors.
