Abstract

Two barriers to postpartum long acting reversible (LARC) contraception among high-risk pregnancies are “patient misconceptions” and “provider time constraints” (SMFM Consult Series #48). We hypothesized that utilizing a multimedia based educational tool (MET), vs routine care (RC), will increase the uptake of postpartum LARC in high-risk pregnancies.
