Abstract
Background: Due to the low or lack of sensitivity to chemotherapy and radiation therapy, the main method of treating pelvic sarcomas is surgical treatment. Over the past decades, there has been a trend towards a shift from mutilation to organ-preserving operations. According to the studied literary sources, the results of treatment of patients with pelvic bone tumors remain disappointing, functional and oncological outcomes are unsatisfactory, which determines the relevance of the problem of scientific research in this area.
