Abstract

This research deals with the postmerger integration's process study of a Chilean company: Cemento Melon. People's experience of executives commited in this operation, Lafarge Group's experience, postmerger integration process formalisation and communication process are key elements to understand organizational implications of this external growth (our control variable are executives departures and cultural integration). We also analyzed the experience gained from this integration for Chilean executives and for Lafarge's Group. Our research was realized thanks to a 5 month study in Chile in Cemento Melon.
