Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Posthumous reproduction (PR) refers to the use of gametes from an individual for reproduction after their death. Retrieval of gametes when death is imminent may be requested by a significant other. What is not known is how individuals, even in committed relationships with plans to have children, feel about the use of their gametes after the time of their death.
