Abstract

Health Significance of Indoor Air Quality has been in the curriculum of the postgraduate training courses for doctors to be specialized in public health and epidemiology for almost two decades. In the frame of the postgraduate course on `Ecological architecture“ at the Technical University of Budapest it has been taught for two years. Special stress is laid upon the issues that represent current problems of high importance in the everyday public health practice related to the indoor environment. The Hungarian National Environmental Health Action Plan (NEHAP) has also been paying special attention to education relating to the indoor environment.
