Background: Junior doctors (FY2 and internal medicine doctors) will be involved in the care of patients with cancer in whichever specialty they choose and yet less than half receive dedicated oncology training. Improving exposure to oncology patient management can develop confidence and engagement and encourage a career in oncology. We aimed to identify stimulating ways to encourage doctors to enjoy and pursue an interest in oncology during their rotation at a tertiary cancer centre.
