Abstract

Background: Our objectives are to share our experience, go over the side effects, and evaluate the long-term results of posterior vertebral column resection (PVCR) with deformity resulting from different causes. Materials and Methods:: A retrospective analysis of 12 patients who had PVCR between 2012 and 2016 was conducted. Posttraumatic deformity in six patients, rigid kyphotic deformity in two patients, metastasis in two patients, Pott's disease in one patient; and osteoporotic fracture in one patient.
