Abstract
Statement of the Problem: Surgery involving the maxilla has been associated with changes in the nasolabial soft tissues, such as widening of the alar base, shortening of the upper lip, and inversion of the lip vermillion. The purpose of this study is to quantify changes in the nasal complex after surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion (SARPE) with the aide of a 3D digital model.
