Abstract

Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation unit. Patient: A 63-yoear-old woman. Case Description: A patient with a medical history of multiple sclerosis was involved in a motor vehicle collision and sustained multiple injuries. Assessment/Results: Computed tomography revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage and multiple fractures, including those of the right clavicle, right zygoma, right sphenoid, and the right anterolateral wall of the maxillary sinus. The patient underwent open reduction and internal fixation of the right zygoma.
