Abstract

Summary A lesser curvature post bulbar duodenal ulcer complicated by moderately severe hemorrhage, occurring during Butazolidin therapy, is presented. A comparison of peptic ulcers occurring during oral Butazolidin therapy with those produced experimentally in animals is attempted. It is suggested that Butazolidin might be a useful tool in the experirrental production of peptic ulcerations. The author wishes to thank Dr. E. S. Kronenberg, Jr., for his permission to report this case.
