Abstract
Post-traumatic stress disorder, included in the ICD-10 under the category «Response to severe stress and adjustment disorders », is one of the debilitating disorders that accompany trauma. Risk identification and timely early diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are prerequisites for effective medical care and prevention. Based on the data of the studied scientific material, the article discusses the features of the diagnosis, clinic, prevention, and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
