Abstract

Post-Soviet Russian historians have continued the Soviet historiographical tradition of producing the most detailed and innovative studies of the Russian Provisional Government 1917. This article surveys and assesses recent Russian contributions in the areas of biography, structures of governance, power and administration, and agrarian policy.
