Abstract

Purpose: Peripheral perfusion index (PI) derived from the pulse oximetry signal has been proposed for different clinical uses particularly for critically ill patients. Furthermore, prognostication after out of hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is still now an open issue. Our aim was to assess whether PI values measured after the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) could predict survival at 30 days.
