Abstract
Background: Post operative analgesia is often underestimated in breast surgery resulting in long term sequelae. Opiates and epidural analgesia may produce complications and limits early rehabilitation. We compare the analgesic effects of intercostal nerve block with subcutaneous infiltration in breast surgery.
