Abstract

We suggest that the correlated narrow-peak structures observed in heavy-ion collisions are due to decays of ${e}^{+}$${e}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ and \ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma} systems formed in a new confining phase of QED.
