Abstract
We investigate the possible existence of a Σ 7Li bound state within the frame of the microscopic α+“2 N”+Σ cluster model by using the effective Σ-N interaction which reproduces the experimental binding energy and width of Σ 4He. One bound state of Σ 7Li is found with about 1.5 MeV binding energy and about 4.6 MeV width.
