Abstract

To diminish the watering norm in irrigated crops from Vlasia Plain, it should be redesigned the elements of irrigation regime as follows of climatic modifications which determine the water consumption values. Having in view the available water volume of Vlasia Plain for irrigation, the diminishing of irrigation norm becomes a necessity. The climatic data (rainfalls and temperatures) from meteorological station Bucharest-Filaret, during 1921-1955, were used. The data were statistically processed and the ensuring curves were performed for rainfalls and temperatures during entire climatic year, warm season of the year (April-September) and each month separately. Using the rainfall values with certain calculus ensuring one can obtain the irrigation norm, establishing the value which determines the highest yield with lowest costs.
