Abstract
The paper analyzes the processes of saturation of multilayer metal materials with interstitial elements: nitrogen and carbon. The formation of diffusion layers is presented. It is found that the thickness of the laminar layer and the degree of structuring of the sample affect the penetration depth of the diffusant.
