Abstract

This experience report discusses outreach actions developed with undergraduate students of Pedagogy and Geography courses, from the State University of Ponta Grossa, in 2019. The outreach course, linked to the Research and Outreach Program in Learning Processes, proposed a theoretical and conceptual articulation about ethnic-racial relations to support undergraduate students with pedagogical proposals for possible interventions in basic education. The actions carried out at a basic education school in the municipality of Castro / Parana were relevant as it allowed the participants to work with the aforementioned topic. This will provide meeting the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and for the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture, as well as the National Curriculum Guidelines for Quilombola School Education. The methodological procedures included studies on the current educational legislation and the implementation of interdisciplinary pedagogical activities on the subject.
