Abstract

The structure of a number of liquid molecular media has been investigated by positron annihilation spectroscopy. By the parameters of annihilation spectra, the dimensions of cavities in which the positronium atom is localized have been determined. The possibility of identifying the chemical composition of atoms that form the “wall” of the positronium bubble is discussed.
