Abstract

In this May in Tromsø an excellent scientific meeting of International Network of Circumpolar Health Research (INCHR) was held. More than 130 participants from all arctic countries followed the scientific program for four days. At the same time, active networking between the participants was conducted. In conjunction with the scientific program several associated meetings were held. These were for example the Arctic Human Health Initiative of International Polar Year, the council meeting of the International Union of Circumpolar Health (IUCH), and the general assembly of the Nordic Society of Arctic Medicine. This inspiring meeting tradition of INCHR is a welcomed addition to the International Congresses of Circumpolar Health, which are held every third year.International Journal of Circumpolar Health 67:2–3 2008
