Positive solutions for nonlinear nonhomogeneous Neumann equations of superdiffusive type

Abstract

We consider a nonlinear logistic-type equation, driven by a nonhomogeneous differential operator and with a reaction of superdiffusive type. Using variational methods together with suitable truncation and comparison techniques, we prove a bifurcation-type result describing the set of positive solutions as the parameter λ > 0 varies.
