Abstract

The article emphasizes the problem of human perception of new architecture and design objects. It is noted that our society now perceives the latest objects, executed in modern forms somewhat negatively, and explains why this is the mechanism of psychological response. The unfamiliar silhouette, the newest forms, the unusual designs are perceived as stress, there is a psychological rejection.In order to adequately perceive the new, it is necessary to overcome internal resistance. The psychological scheme of awareness and cognition of the unknown is considered. It proves that the object is perceived mostly positive when it is quickly recognizable, but not banal. Original and banal information is characterized by dialectical unity. The connection between verbal violence, the level of education of society and the possibility of perceiving new, atypical objects. The more developed a society is, the specific observer - the easier it is to perceive the new, to adopt new forms and technologies. This is because at the stage of information filtering, matching, subliminal list of known images, a larger amplitude scale arises; a person with broader thinking is better prepared to take on a new image. The development of society takes perception to a new stage, when new forms, constructions, style becomes typical, occurs more often, psychological habituation and cognition of forms takes place, and psychological adaptation takes place.
