Abstract
Let ℒ(E) be a space of operators on a finite dimensional Hilbert space E, and let ℒ(E)* be its dual. In this paper the positive part P is considered for the unit ball of ℒ(E)*. We investigate the structure of extremal subsets of P. In particular it is given a characterization of extreme positive functionals on ℒ(E).
