Abstract

Abstract The merit of examining the cerebellopontine angles of patients with acoustic neuromas by means of positive contrast medium injected into the spinal theca is discussed on the basis of 12 positive cases and a large control series of normal examinations. The technique, radiographic anatomy and success rate of this diagnostic method are critically evaluated.
