Professor and Department Head, Department of Poultry Science, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA. The University of Georgia, College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Athens, is seeking candidates for the position of professor and department head for the Department of Poultry Science. The Department of Poultry Science consists of 23 faculty members located in Athens, Tifton, and Calhoun, who are supported by 45 staff and 23 graduate students. Undergraduate enrollment is about 70.Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Poultry Science or a closely related field and demonstrated excellence in or appreciation for research, teaching, and/or extension. Candidates should have evidence of effective interaction with industry and government agencies and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the university.
