Assistant/Associate Professor of Poultry Science. CALPOLY. The Animal Science Department, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California is now accepting applications for an academic year, tenure-track, Assistant/Associate faculty position in Poultry Science beginning September 16, 1996. Duties include: Teach primarily courses in poultry science (production and processing of broilers and turkeys). Supervise student enterprise projects, special problems, senior projects and seminars, and participate in the development and management of the new poultry instruction complex. Qualifications: Doctorate in Poultry, Avian or Animal Sciences or a related discipline. Teaching and/or Industry experience in poultry industry preferred. The department, through its faculty and students, manages commercial herds and flocks of beef cattle, horses, swine, sheep, and poultry on a farm of some 6,000 acres with the support of the vet clinic.
