Abstract
Although the critical appraisal procedure of health technologies in Hungary traditionally focuses on cost-effectiveness, the assessment of clinical added benefit (CAB) should not be neglected. To standardize the assessment procedure, we propose implementing a framework, which provides a uniform set of criteria to determine the conclusion on CAB. The aim of this research is to illustrate the internal development process within the Department of Health Technology Assessment.
