Abstract
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was declared a pandemic since 11th March 2020. Transmission occurs via droplets and air particles. Many preventive measures had been proposed, including maintaining physical distance, hand hygiene and wearing a mask. However, the most effective strategy is vaccination. Patients with end stage kidney disease (ESKD) receiving regular dialysis are vulnerable to this disease due to their immunosuppressed state and multiple co-morbidities.
