Abstract

Preformed antibodies influence the graft outcome. The detrimental impact of anti HLA antibodies on kidney transplantation has been extensively studied. However, the impact of antibodies against non-HLA antigens is less well understood. Recent studies suggest Angiotensin II type 1 receptor antibodies(AT1RAbs) have been an independent risk factor of graft failure and Acute rejection. This study was done to determine the incidence, type of rejections and graft outcome in renal allograft recipients with high AT1R Abs level.
