Abstract

Peritoneal dialysis (PD) has been promoted as the main renal replacement therapy modality under the Thai Universal Coverage. Although self-care is anticipated among PD patients, caregivers are essential and might have high physical and mental burden in some sociocultural contexts. This study aims to assess the depression and quality of life (QoL) of the PD caregivers and patients in Thailand.
