Abstract
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a common and major health problem which is progressively growing due to increase in the prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertension (HTN) and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). Early detection of CKD gives an opportunity for effective and suitable interventions. Raising general population awareness may give a good opportunity towards CKD detection and prevention. Our aim in this study was to assess the level of awareness of CKD among Egyptian general population.
