Abstract

Hypocalcemia is highly prevalent in hemodialysis (HD) patients and poorly predicted by albumin-calcium level, so measuring blood ionized calcium (ic) level is recommended on HD. The aim was to find factors that influence the blood ic level in dialysis patients.
