Abstract

Associated with significant advances in analytical methods for microbiome, the relationship between changes in gut microbiome and various diseases such as metabolic and chronic inflammatory diseases has been increasingly reported, raising the possibility that the development and progression of diabetic kidney disease might be associated with dysbiosis. The present study aimed to elucidate the association between gut microbiome and progression of kidney disease in diabetic mice administered broad-spectrum antibiotics.
