Abstract

To date, the problem of the prognostic significance of genetic thrombophilia and assessment of the risk of the development of thrombosis vascular access during the hemodialysis treatment in children with chronic kidney disease stage 5, as well as postoperative complications of renal transplantation is not clearly resolved. Data on the prevalence of STI gene polymorphism thrombophilia among healthy child population and children with renal disease are sparse. The aim of this study is to investigate thrombophilia mutations in children with stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD V) undergoing hemodialysis.
