Abstract

Pulmonary hypertension is a significant predictor of mortality and morbidity among CKD patients. Prevalence of pulmonary hypertension in CKD varies from 15-60% depending on the study population and method of measuring pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PASP). 2D echocardiographic estimation of PASP is one of the non-invasive method of diagnosing pulmonary hypertension. Present study was aimed to know the prevalence and predictors of pulmonary hypertension in CKD 3b-5ND (non dialysis) patients.
