Abstract
PUV in children is associated with deterioration of kidney function despite surgical relief of obstruction (ROO). High nadir S.creatinine (NC) after ROO predicts poor renal outcomes. We performed a retrospective cohort study in a large PUV population to determine if early abnormalities in kidney structure and function (before ROO) were associated with high NC. We then measured the time taken to progress to low eGFR during a 5 year follow up, stratified by NC.
